I'm fucked! My bus line neglected to post on the main page that it's not running today(it ALWAYS does this as a reminder when it's not running) and my stupid self didn't realize. So um. I guess i hope that my parents wake up sometime between now and 9:45 so i can ask if i can borrow the car or get a ride, I REALLY don't want to wake them up, but I'll have to if they don't wake up so I can get a ride to work.

So you people with glasses? The eye exams....no one ever told my they would numb my eyes. OH GOD. D: I don't think i've ever felt anything like that in my life. SO FUCKING WIERD OMG.

And my eyes just...hurt now.

But yeah, boy did I need glasses. I have mild astigmatism and my left eye is totally shot to hell. I am nearsighted yay. I picked a pair with Casey's help, they'll have them ready in a week..I DON WANNA WAIT :O They're black and very ...classic kind of looking, very rectangular. I hope I made a good decision.

Lately I've been having nothing but nightmares. Tonight for instance, a delightful cocktail of dreaming that the reason I've been gaining so much weight is because I'm actually pregnant (oh god no) and that I was late to work and got fired, and then was kicked out of my house. Oh goody.

Tomorrow is glasses day! And go to the University and get paid for doing wierd shit day!(I do some sort of stuff for the adult research lab and they pay me to sit there and do it...) And D&D tonight! yeys! But work first *droop* =(


I've seen so many movies the last few days, and only one of them new!
I saw Earth Girls are Easy (omfg I didn't know how to feel about that, a very young Jim Carrey, Damon Wayans and that guy from the Fly...), Johnny Mneumonic, You Don't Mess with the Zohan with dad for father's day - it was better than expected, and also Cherry 2000 which is pretty much the worst movie ever.

I got...promoted? Kind of? I'll be working in the deli now, um, i guess that's good? I get paid more...
And now I am filling out job applications. Le sigh.

I don't really have anything special to post today. I am lying on my stomach in bed, sort of enjoying the sleepy stage before I close everything down and go to bed...closing my eyes occasionally and drifting.

Oh, so I'm getting glasses. My long range vision is finally shot from all these years of using my computer for hours on end in the dark. I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT TO GET. There's no way I'm paying more than a hundred bucks for these. My mom's cost four hundred, but she has the ones that have like no frames at all and are bendy-wendy. I would like some of those transitions ones, that go from light to dark, but...
I'd like to take Casey, despite the fact he has a fetishistic fascination with me wearing glasses. He'll help, I'm sure. *not sure if she's being sarcastic..*

I watched Godspell with Casey the other day. :O is all have to say about it atm.

I came home last night and i remember feeling really surreal and peaceful, as i I drove I could hear millions of crickets all around the whole time and the moon was nearly full and was very glowy, it was beautiful.

Right now, however, is a very bloodshot-eyed time. Not sure why, cus I got enough sleep last night.
I can feel the bags under my eyes.

I dreamed about my ex boyfriend last night, going to visit him and talking to him. It was good, and I ended up wanting to do sexual things with him again...but i didn't, we just talked..


OH OH OH. And so yesterday I got hit on by a little boy. Again.

Explanation..
So I'm riding the bus to work, like I oftentimes do, and as sometimes happens, at the slide hill park stop in north davis, the bus is inundated with a summer or afterschool camp that is just coming back from the swimming pool thereabouts. Lots of..oh, i'd wager 4th graders. And I'm reading my book, minding my own business and the kids squeeze in around me filling in every possible space. And then I hear "So are you used to this sort of thing?"

I lower my book and there he is next to me. Trying so hard to look casual it's adorable, his arm desperatly trying to stretch around behind me in a gesture of "affection"?. The little red haired kid who always, always seems to seek me out. He's just abotu the reddest haired kid i've ever seen in my life, with freckles everyfreaking where. He'll come plop himself down next to me and go WHATCHYA READING and on days when I have my ds, man, you can not get him AWAY from me. He wants to see exactly what I'm doing.

Cute. Creepy. Not into the shota. Sorry kid.

Fucking tired out but finally done, man, i thought i had it made, but a bunch of last minute changes to my painting just crept up on me, and here I am at 2 am still kind of unsatisfied with the thing and I gotta get up to get ready for the shower in 6 hours. Waaah...well I really hope my cousin likes it, there's a lot i'd still change but it sure looks a lot better than it did a couple hours ago. Pix coming tomorrow maybe?

Oh, also i participated in an epic Jenga match today. Wow was that fun. Next - strip Jenga?

So I really should be working on my painting...but I'm telling myself it's drying. I need to have this done in a week, i really think it's enough time. I decided on red for the background scheme/couch color, since its the color of passion, kinda, and it's supposed to be a painting that represents my cousin and her fiancee's bond together, it made enough sense. Maybe if I feel like it later I'll take and upload some pics of the progress. It looks good.

*pauses to move the paint into little piles so it doesn't dry up... stupid acrylics.* I would like to be out of the studio for the day in a little while, mom has students coming at 3, and hopefully a call for me from the other Jessica is impending today. Or did she want me to call her? I dont know!
I am really not feeling so good about myself today, I had a number of uncomfortable things occur in the last couple days that really make me question not only my judgement but my self control. And I fear that I'm getting stupider the longer I'm out of school, and the thought makes me very scared. It sounds dumb but...i dunno. Mom says I should enroll in some college courses if they interest me, but nothing really interests me right now...I just feel empty. Distant, especially from the important people.
